How will the books be delivered and distributed to the school?Each student will set up an account under their homeroom number, teachers name or Media Center. The books are shipped with a separate packing slip for each student in a homeroom, teachers name or Media Center. This makes for simply distribution.
Are there shipping charges?Every student and/or purchaser that orders products, who wants them shipped to the school, will pay $1.00 for the entire order placed. Those orders will arrive 3-6 days after the end of the book fair (depending on location and weather delays). Those requesting orders to be shipped to a home address will be charged $3.95 per order, up to $49.99. (see our shipping rates on the Books Rock Cafť website)
If a relative out of state, places an order, do I still get credit for the sale?YES the School/Media Center still receives credit on ALL purchases whether in state or out of state.
How long can I run my book fair?*2 weeks, this insures that all orders are delivered in a timely manner.
Can my students, faculty, friends, relatives or business partners continue to order after the book fair has ended?YES the school/media center will still get credit from future purchases although the shipping charge of $3.95 per order will go into effect and these orders will be shipped directly to home or business.
Is there a minimum amount of sales?NO MINIMUM SALES!!!
How do the students pay for their orders?The students can pay cash*, check* or credit card. Checks would be made out to the school. Although the school has the option to elect to have a credit card only book fair.
What can my school earn?Your School/Media Center earns 15% cash or 25% Book credit at The Reading Warehouse on all book sales and 5% to 15% profit on DVDís and CDís.
How long does it take to get our order?In most cases, books will get to your school 3-6 business days after the fair ends. *Not responsible for weather related delays.
How do I advertise my Books Rock Cafť Book Fair?Email the virtual book fair fliers to faculty, parents, family and business partners (these are available right on our website). Post the fliers in and around the school and with local businesses in your community that support the school. Send the fliers home with the students. Use the Reverse Date Phone System to broadcast the Book Fair to all the students and parents. Advertise in monthly or weekly school newsletters. Design bulletin boards or use trophy cases to display book fair highlights for students to see Best Sellers, New CDís and DVDís. Post the schools link for easy ordering. Post on the schools website. Encourage staff to post on Face Book and Twitter accounts. Use the morning announcements as a way to get students excited. Ask PTA members to get involved and discuss during monthly meetings. Post book fair on your school Marquee. Marketing is the key to success!
Will we be charged sales tax?Tax will only be charged in South Carolina.
